Payments

How fees work.

When a buyer pays through Loot, they pay the listed price, with nothing added on top. The seller receives the listing price minus the platform fee. Buyer protection is included on every in-app payment. No add-ons, no tiers at checkout.

Free accounts: 8% deducted from seller payout. Loot Pro (coming soon): 4% deducted from seller payout. Protection is the same either way.

Pro pays for itself after roughly $125 in monthly sales at the standard rate.

Cash and e-transfer between students carry no fee and no buyer protection. Trades are always free.
