Own your campus launch
You're the face of Loot at your school. You organise the launch, spread the word, and make sure Loot has supply (sellers) and demand (buyers) from day one.
We're looking for one student per campus to lead Loot's launch. If you know your school, this is for you.
This isn't a brand rep role where you hand out flyers. You're the operator. You decide how Loot lands at your school.
You're the face of Loot at your school. You organise the launch, spread the word, and make sure Loot has supply (sellers) and demand (buyers) from day one.
Reach out to student groups, course union reps, and residence councils. Get students to post their first listings before launch day so buyers find real inventory immediately.
Flyers, Instagram posts, Reddit threads (r/[yourschool]), Discord servers, campus group chats, class announcements, word of mouth, whatever works on your campus. Online reach matters as much as physical presence. Make sure every student has heard of Loot before they need to buy a textbook.
You're our eyes and ears on campus. What's working, what isn't, what students are asking for. Direct line to the founding team: your input shapes what we build next.
Your Loot profile gets a "Founding Ambassador" badge that stays forever. You were there from the start; that's visible to every future user at your school.
You earn a percentage of transactions at your school. Details are set on application and scale with volume. The more your campus transacts, the more you earn.
Slack channel, weekly check-ins, and a direct line to the people building the product. Your feedback is taken seriously; ambassadors have already influenced core features.
Run a successful campus launch and we'll write you a reference letter for jobs, grad school, or anything else. Real startup experience on your resume, backed by real results.
You don't need a marketing degree or a big following. You need to know your campus, care about the problem, and be the kind of person who actually does what they say they'll do. One ambassador per school, anywhere in Canada.
You know which student groups matter, which buildings everyone hangs out in, and how information actually spreads at your school.
You follow up on your own, don't need hand-holding, and care about the outcome; not just the title.
We're currently recruiting ambassadors for McMaster and the next 5 campuses on our expansion list. Spots are limited to one per school.
